I also got an iphone and found out how stupid it is for work (crappy email, no group emails, no copy paste prior 3.0) and I got a blackberry and never looked back.

My macbook was replaced 2x within a month, and my iphone was replaced 4x within 2 months.

Apple's quality control is terrible, each replacement would have one of the following:
- iphone and macbook had dead/stuck pixels
- iphone loses 3G constantly
- dust stuck behind the glass on the macbook
- bad viewing angles on macbook 13.3"
- screen flickers at low brightness

Although this might not happen to everyone, but DAMN I found myself visiting the apple store almost every week and wasting my f-ing time with "geniuses" that think they know everything. One of them even told me that stuck pixels are within spec when purchasing a laptop...

I said the exact words: "you have to be f-ing kidding me. I'm paying $1650 for something that's f-ing broken"

APPLE FTL

So far I only have 1 sony laptop, and 1 blackberry. At least my ipod nano has no problems. Never using an apple product again, with the exception of the ipods.

When your Ipod dies get a Creative Zen Stone. Way better than the Nano and costs less.

The Tricycle vs Motorcycle is more or less exactly what it's like.
The marketing is better on a Mac. That's why peope buy them.

Instead of debating which one is better, how about giving some reasons.
And then stating your experience and knowledge of using a computer.

Anyone with the abilities to troubleshoot themselves and know how to build a computer would go for a PC.

i have always been a PC guy and hated apples for no reasons, and just decided to switch to mac one day with this macbook pro.. i still run dual boot just for one program that doesnt run on mac, and everytime i use XP now i just get pissed off. Nothing works as well as the OSX does.. nothing at all...

I laugh back in those mac hippies' goddamned faces when they say that. The fucking R-click is on the same ABS plastic shell as the L-click! It'll recognize it wrong 60% of the fucking time, tapping right click rapidly eventually becomes left click. Eventually you find out a Microsoft mouse works best when you have a mac, how ironic.

and then the "End" and "home" buttons don't work like on PC. This is particularly fucking annoying when you are trying to code in Xcode or even Flash AS3.

I hate people that tell me Macs are the way to go for graphic designing. I can do everything a Mac user can do on a PC, except, I can also 3D model as well.

Try telling a Mac guy to go work on some 3D like Maya or 3Dstudio max. btw, you're gonna need 3 buttons.

Rikaro 03-31-2009 03:59 PM

why does everyone have to compare mac and pc?

Just use what you have and shut the fuck up.

Balla25 03-31-2009 10:11 PM

PC all the way
screw macs ahah there gayy

haha thats pretty true....thinking about who has macs, they are people who have money but no real jobs...

same with people and ipods....why do people pay so much for the apple symbol? there are like 500 other mp3 players that are 1/10th the price..
