He told you that there was a brake problem; nobody knows when a "problem" will become a failure. If you knew it was the master cylinder, why not get it towed to a shop, or say "I'll buy it once the brakes are fixed"? Like you said, as-is is sold as-is. Sucks to be you when the brakes fail, but I've been there before; brakes broke and then there you are doing your damnedest to stop that thing. For me, it was an '88 olds; believe me it's much easier to stop a teg than an Olds. |
