A medium sized coffee is a buck-something.

They opened up the second location because the first one was undergoing renovations at the time. When the original store's renovations were done, they realized that both locations were actually bringing in enough money to justify keeping them both open.

I'll miss the Aberdeen location, but only because I helped open the store.

Glad I don't drink coffee, biggest waste of money

hk20000 03-31-2009 09:05 AM

$5 gets you a bowl of noodles and a coffee upstairs in the foodcourt (well 5.50)

Durrann1984 03-31-2009 09:15 AM

yeah you guys are right
$5 + change can buy you a dish and a drink at hk cafes

twitchyzero 03-31-2009 09:20 AM

^ it's $4 to rent dvd at rogers which i think should be $3 or $3.50

IMO i rent blu-rays for $5 or 3 for $9 old one's so it's still worth it for me

No they didn't. They were doing renovations so they could put an oven in there, it's been re-opened since last Wednesday.

like he cares.

But Aberdeen rent is just ridiculous. Half of the stores r owned by fairchild anyways. If they want the maill filled, just lower rent. Apparently they dun care.

Durrann1984 04-01-2009 01:49 PM

everything seems over priced anyway lol
the only thing worth going for is the food court and Daiso maybe

and Guu

impactX 04-01-2009 05:31 PM

I still don't know why they rebuilt that mall and turned it into something highend-ish and stupid.

It was a nice place when it had that threater and a mini foodcourt. Can't believe that it's almost 10 years ago...

Synaptik 04-01-2009 05:42 PM

because some honger thought it'd be the 2nd coming of hongkong but didnt realize that most richmond ppl are too cheap for the overpriced shit in aberdeen, even if they have the money. i bet he charges through the nose for rent to recoup the costs of construction too.

daiso doesnt apply.

+1

No surprise here. You can get a lemonade that's 2x Venti sized for $1.75 up in that food court. Aberdeen is probably one of the worst places you can try to open something upscale. The place is filled with cheap Chinese people for crying out loud! :D
