Jesus pretty explicitly stated to turn the other cheek and to love your enemies.

You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, 'Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.' (Matthew 5:43-45)

I'm very well read, have extensive life experience, and keep very, very up to date on current events. I love reading about history, physics, astronomy, biology, nutrition, politics, and psychology.

With a grade 9 education, I can still school most people in a wide variety of topics. I also can program a bit of HTML and flash.

I'm a wannabe polymath!

My lack of education has very little to do with the fact that if you take time to read the history of Mohammed, the truth becomes clear. According to Ibn Hisham's translation of Ibn Ishaq's original biography of Mohammed, you'll realize that Mohammed was, indeed, a ruthless warlord. Islam was spread by the sword, and continues to be spread by the sword to this day. Not that you can blame the guy, those were some pretty rough times! The argument can be made that Jesus never fought in a war, and certainly would not watch people being beheaded:

Ibn Ishaq (d. 768 C.E.), the earliest biographer of Muhammad, is recorded as saying that the Prophet ordered the execution by decapitation of 700 men of the Jewish Banu Qurayza tribe in Medina.

The Qur'an explains beheading, and is pretty clear:

Sura (chapter) 47 contains the ayah (verse): "When you encounter the unbelievers on the battlefield, strike off their heads until you have crushed them completely; then bind the prisoners tightly."

People argue that the translation is incorrect, the rebuttal:

The Qur'anic Arabic terms are generally straightforward: kafaru means "those who blaspheme/are irreligious," although Darb ar-riqab is less clear. Darb can mean "striking or hitting" while ar-riqab translates to "necks, slaves, persons." With little variation, scholars have translated the verse as, "When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks."

Islam enjoyed a period of scientific discovery until the 12th century, when some crazy turban guy said that math was work of the devil. Since then, Islam has been mired in a cesspool of regressive fundamentalism. How many nobel prize winning muslims have there been, compared to jews? Oh wait, blame jewish conspiriacy for that.

Around the world today, can you list the number of conflicts due to muslim aggression? How many links so signs in the UK stating "Behead those who insult Islam" can I find?

How many links can I find to pictures of people saying "Behead those who insult Jesus"?

Look, I realize muslims get a bad rap for violence when many of them are peaceful. Not all muslims are terrorists, but most terrorists are muslim.

Geert Wilders has created a brilliant movie in Fitna, using only clips of extremist muslims to put together a showcase of religious fundamentalism that has snuck into Western society under the banner of multiculturalism.(Albeit some of the clips are from Saudi Arabia)

Could you create a Christian-based "Fitna" movie? Jesus Camp was pretty scary, but those people are pretty harmless. Some may say that the Iraq war was a war from a christian nation on muslims, but the major difference being that it was a political war, not a religious war. Acts of terrorism that happen world-wide are often fueled by a belief that someone's suicide bombing or jihad will earn them virgins in heaven and a seat closest to Mohammed in paradise.

Ok, respond with a one-liner "You're ignorant, I have nothing to say". I understand.

The Pope, starting with Urban, was able to fire up the people and use fear to spur the people into action. Keep in mind that perhaps the crusades were neccessary to keep muslim aggression in check, as we all know that muslims attacked Spain before the crusades.

Is a program somehow better if you watch it online, as opposed to on TV?

dude, do some research. u will find, paki gov. for the longest time supported radicals, because they supported war against India ,etc.

the ISI trained Let and other org. to carry out raids agains india. It was only after 9/11 that this stopped. even now, ISI has many sympathizers within its org that support LeT and other radical org.
LOok up SWAT and etc. now they are mostly under Taliban control.

Its that gov. of pakistan that initiated support for radicals. and now its backfiring.

there are still other terrorists groups operating out there. the muslim ones are the most outspoken these days, but a lot of different regions have their own home grown terrorists, patiently waiting to strike, rainbow six style.

Hey, seriously. Don't paint all Muslims with that brush. When is the last time you heard Mohammad Ali declare fatwa on someone? Maybe Joe Frazier but thats about it.

The terroristic Muslim sects are basically the equivalent of people like the Westboro Baptist Church. An embarrassment to the entire faith and carrying ideals supported by very few.

The Qu'ran on the other hand justifies holy war...
'Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.' (Matthew 10:34-39 NASB)

jesus said a lot of other crazy shit.
In fact, the bible has a lot of other crazy shit in it.

well said, this should end all discussion on the subject since you just owned everyones ignorant comments in one stroke of the pen... errrr..... I mean keyboard !

for Taliban or any other terrorists to represent the Muslim faith is the equivalent of a bunch of child molesting Christian priests being chosen to represent the Christian faith !

If you know anything about Islam, you would already know that the biggest sin in Islam as stated in the Qu'ran is for one to commit suicide, (this is an absolutely unforgivable sin and carries an automatic sentence of eternity in hell, without parole... lol)

And by the way, the second biggest sin would be to kill another Muslim.
And all these assholes do all day is blow themselves up killing other Muslims, so I don't understand how anybody with a healthy state of mind can't see these facts because they're plain as day.

1. You don't have to be in front of the TV when the show starts
2. You can skip back and forward in the show
3. You can pick and choose what shows to watch, when to watch

etc etc

TV is for dullards. Watching even 5 minutes of a modern sitcom makes me want to throw up.

I didn't know the CBC even aired documentaries anymore.

How ignorant you both are. Look at the numbers out of the UK of how many people support Sharia law, and how many young muslims actually feel British.

Muslims DO NOT protest terrorist attacks.

Muslims DO protest cartoons and free speech.

You are both completely ignorant to the amount of sympathy in the muslim community for the various terrorist organizations. Completely ignorant.
