DC has Batman and Superman. After them the popularity of superheroes grow quite thin.

batman and superman are more iconic than all of marvel put together sorry.

obviously from my avatar you can guess i'm biased towards DC. but FYI, i don't really read comics or anything.

save it for the theaters... the I think the special effects will help boost up your rating of the movie. The last fight at the end sucked for me.. seeing all the computer stuff + strings going into it took away from the 'realism' you should be experiencing at the theater =(

i have no idea who that is. I thought it was a warcraft character or something

ASG111 04-22-2009 11:59 PM

ok wait, i'm watching it on my comp, and there are these scenes where it's obviously graphically sketched (seems not yet completed), is it suppose to be like that?

Spoiler!

DanHibiki 04-23-2009 12:02 AM

No. This is a workprint version and a lot of the effects weren't completed yet.

nipples 04-23-2009 12:18 AM

LOL @ ppl think it's gonna be like that in the theatres hahahahha

'claws grow', strings, flight simulator type of graphics etc

Don't worry. This leaked version was....made before they spent an intense 3 month re-filming of some parts. So still go and see it. There will probably be a ton of added/deleted scenes. Plus, what is X-Men without special effects?!

Story.

Gt-R R34 04-23-2009 04:32 PM

lol could you guys not tell it was not finished? o.O

but the story was pretty bad (i'll still go watch it in the theatres) but my expectation has been a lot lower.

DanHibiki 04-23-2009 04:39 PM

Ya I was surprised that some people could not tell it was not finished yet...green screen, cables, shittier effects than the 1080s.

I didn't feel like being mean tho.

Spoiler!

ScizzMoney 05-02-2009 10:07 PM

Went along with my brother and saw it. Didn't really like it.

Philly74 05-02-2009 11:19 PM

it wasn't bad at all. Just the end where the fight scene between wolverine and deadpool and everything about deadpool at the tail end of the movie i didn't like but overall its not bad compare to x3...

RayBot 05-03-2009 12:18 AM

Sorry....not impressed. A couple of WTF scenes as well.

I guess being a comic book nerd as a kid kinda ruins the movie.....But even if i wasn't and knew nothing of Marvel, i'd still be like WTF.

Grandmaster TSE 05-03-2009 12:49 AM

yeah, big comic fan here too
and what they did with the story was wtf

jlo mein 05-03-2009 01:53 AM

WTF!!! Deadpool!!! Favourite character, now ruined! Ryan Reynolds played Wade Wilson so perfect in the beginning, but the ending part was absolute garbage. I don't know how the movie's writers could have thought fans would react positively to that.

For those commenting on the future of Deadpool:

Spoiler!
