I remember reading somewhere that interviewed The Rock and he said it made him sad and almost tear up when he first started out and the crowd chanted Rock sucks.

This video of Vince giving Shawn Michaels his HOF ring is interesting, because it shows flashes of Vince being the weird, awkward, antisocial guy we expect over the years, then a few moments of touching humanity...

murd0c 04-03-2011 06:04 PM

I think the undertaker needs to learn how to do a triangle lol

I think you need to learn the difference between a triangle and gogoplata

:troll:

murd0c 04-03-2011 06:29 PM

his right leg wasn't pressed up against HHH throat thats why I called it more of a triangle.

Euro7r 04-03-2011 07:01 PM

I don't know about you guys, I thought the Miz vs Cena match was boring like hell.

Kind of thought the whole ending to the "main event" was a kinda WTF. :speechless:

At least HHH vs Taker was awesome.

I gotta say..after not watching wrestling for so long, this PPV..was sorta lacking from the reason why I bought into the PPV. The Rock never really disappoints, but he did tonight. Did he save the Main Event? sort of? Glad to see Miz gets to keep the belt, as giving it to Cena woulda been lame. Must say tho, Miz is not ready for primetime just yet. Del Rio/Edge match was so much better

As for HHH vs Taker. Right from the get go, they gave it all they got. HHH probably sprained his wrist from the fall off table. Taker, wow, continues to push his body to the limit tonight. most ENTERTAINING match of the night.

HHH and Taker set the tone for the WWE on what is defined as "main event status" for the company moving forward.

If Wrestlemania is where wrestlers DEFINE milestone moments in their careers. I didn't see much of that tonight.

Most memorable moment had to be
Spoiler!

gonna have to agree with the rock comment, thought he would be a little more involved. the result after the king vs michael cole match was hilarious followed by an epic triple h vs undertaker match, which was the match of the night for me. my friends and I weren't even paying attention to the cena/miz match, we were just waiting for the rock to appear.

Thrilla 04-04-2011 02:36 AM

not greatest wrestlemania i'd say taker vs hhh was best match AND SNOOOOKI :troll:

SkinnyPupp 04-04-2011 05:12 AM

As someone who watches wrestling all the time, I really liked this show. They kept the crap short (except Cole/Lawler) and the good matches (HHH/Taker, Edge/Del Rio, Punk/Orton) had plenty of time to tell interesting stories.

Seeing Snooki turn the crowd FOR her after showing some athleticism was pretty awesome. Almost as awesome as Trish's pants :drool

Taker put on a hell of a show. Like holy SHIT.

Cena/Miz was about what I expected. I'm probably one of the few who liked the K-1 style intro... The way Miz has been pushed, nobody gives a shit about him, and nobody sees him as a threat. Cena is always pretty bad, and he seemed to be having an off night on top of that, so it was pretty brutal. The story with Rock can't be over now.. We know he'll be on raw, so we'll have to wait and see where they go from here.

SkinnyPupp 04-05-2011 05:02 AM

SIN CARA FTW

411ken 04-05-2011 07:27 AM

WTF...Wrestlemania 28 main event has been booked already? LOL..

What happens now? I guess we won't see the rock again for a while?

If the rock "jobs" to cena , that would suck and I odn't think I can watch wrestling again haha

Obsideon 04-05-2011 02:29 PM

WTF was that all about?!... I was so disappointed when The Rock said "Wrestlemania 28, see you there!" ..... uhhh WM27 was just THE DAY BEFORE!... ugh we gotta wait an entire year (364 days to be exact) before we see anything happen?...
I'm assuming Rocky's gonna disappear to Hollywood again until then ... bah and WWE was just starting to get interesting... :\

Not really racist! 04-05-2011 03:19 PM

Watching the HOF atm, awesomee

Since WM28 is going to be in The Rock's hometown, chances are, he won't be jobbing to Cena :)

I think the goal here is to "pass" the torch to Cena... just like how Hogan did it to Rock a few WM back... Just a thought anyway lol

Rock did say he'll "never" leave the WWE again or he's going nowhere when he came back...

we'll see... only 360+ days to go and see that match LOL

SkinnyPupp 04-05-2011 06:12 PM

Anyone watch TOUGH ENOUGH? It's way better than Ultimate Fighter... They have a great mix of people who look like they deserve to be there, and complete geeks that we can LOL at

First episode alone was filled with great moments

Like this attempted somersault by MISS USA

And Stone Cold's reaction to being told that this girl's favourite match IN HISTORY is Alicia Fox vs Melina

 for this show!

SkinnyPupp 04-06-2011 03:28 AM

HHH and Taker were fined, for the unprotected headshot. That's against company policy, as you can imagine. It's good to see they are doing something about the head injury problem

Spartacus 04-06-2011 04:55 AM

Anyone have links to the epic match between HHH and Taker?
