Wrestling Fans

So they have Styles now, they just signed Austin Aries and they got Joe already.
They should do a TNA invasion angle...

Should've kept James Storm and signed Bobby Roode and Christopher Daniels

Ch28 01-25-2016 01:40 PM

The invasion angle was so poorly done last time they did it. All the ECW/WCW guys got completely squashed

Galactic_Phantom 01-25-2016 02:13 PM

And the fact they never acknowledged the existence of TNA.

Does anyone know how much close to the ring WM seats cost usually? I was thinking of flying there the day of and leaving the next morning just for WM32

Slif 01-25-2016 04:47 PM

I was at WM31 last year. "Floor seats" (NOT ringside) start at $2500USD before taxes and fees. "Ringside seats" (row 3-15) are reserved for VIP travel package holders. The first 3 rows, you'd have to know someone high up in the Dallas Cowboys organization, or someone with McMahon as their surname.

If you want to try your luck, buy your plane ticket now, and wait upto 5 days before WM to buy your tickets from Ticketmaster. Once WWE finalizes the floor plan, they release more "floor seats" (usually with "blocked views") for a discounted price. By that I mean, they would normally cost $3000, you can buy it for $2000.

Last year, those seats were behind the corner-rigging posts, BUT you had the freedom to walk around the floor area - and the people sitting all the way in the back of the floor got to meet with the wrestlers as they walked from the ring to backstage (e.g. where they parked Rusev's tank). You also got to meet VIPs who would be watching the show from that staging area (a lot of NXT guys were over there last year - people were chanting their names whenever they showed up).

I had nosebleeds which cost me $200USD.

You can check for tickets on ticketmaster.com right now to give you an idea of cost.

To put things in perspective, for WM19 in Seattle, I was on the floor (1 section behind the "ringside seats"), which allowed me to run straight up to the front barricades (I have ridiculously close-up shots) cost me an astounding $85USD.

Galactic_Phantom 01-25-2016 05:56 PM

I've been told on reddit as well that waiting closer to the event might land me cheaper tickets. I've seen on websites some pictures of 200, 300 level seatings (mid levels) and I am satisfied with those (after realizing how expensive the close seats were :okay:). I assume those seats most likely will not be released later on?

Tim Budong 01-25-2016 10:13 PM

Good luck.
I know someone that went to WM at levis stadium

stay for Raw the night after.

Slif 01-25-2016 10:31 PM

The 200/300 seats won't get cheaper unless you want to try your luck on StubHub closer to the day. Those seats are pretty much all "released" at this point.

The event to go on that weekend is WrestleCon, and the NXT event (which is completely sold out). JR and Foley will do talks as well. RoH will have a show too.

I skipped RAW - after watching it, no regrets. 4 hours at Mania is difficult enough - for a RAW? Uughh.

wtf New Day is hilarious! They sometimes go a bit too long though

Galactic_Phantom 01-28-2016 02:45 PM

There is a house show on Sunday Feb 7th in Abbotsford and Raw is Feb 8th in Key Arena Seattle.

For those who have been to house shows and considering the shitty state of Raw nowadays do you think it is not worth the hassle to go to Raw?

Ch28 01-28-2016 03:34 PM

I think you'll have fun at Raw provided you're also spending time in Seattle. I wouldn't make a trip out just for Raw

Vansterdam 01-31-2016 07:41 AM

was gonna go to the raw shit but man our dollar sucks
