Collectively, yes, everyone hates each other, but srsly, nobody really gives a flying frak once they get here. The Koreans and Japanese tend to associate with each other more than any others simply because
A) there's more of the two of them here
B) their cultures are relatively similar, all things considered.

hmm...I'm cbc, and I'm not into fobs but I sometimes used to go to the clubs downtown that all the fobs are prone to gathering in and experiment. Did not have a problem striking a conversation with them or hooking up with them, although I found jap fobs to be a lot friendlier and open than korean, but thats just my experience, its different for everyone I suppose. I have a friend who is fijian, short, glasses, semi-nerdy, kind of metro, but he gets a lot of hot fob pussy. But he is a very cool guy to hang out with.

well i've lived with korean and japanese room mates in the past and they tell me they don't like dating guys of their own ethnicity. apparently their japanese and korean boyfriends were really controlling....

no offence but from my personal experience... korean fobs are really annoying/ loud and rude.. plus with the language barrier... you're better off keeping your fantasies to yourself and find someone you're truly compatible with to date...

Agreed. I used to watch a lot of Korean dramas and wanted to date a korean girl and all but like BabyJane said, it's just a fantasy. In real life I would much rather date a CBC girl with the same culture.

^lol... korean dramas... that attraction is all about unfamiliarity/ newness, and those actresses aren't representative of ''real'' korean girls anyways...:S

Korean and Japanese guys come in various types; very often Korean guys aren't controlling per se, just really really really freakin' high maintenance. Korean girls complain about it a lot, but at the same time they then freak out on their boyfriends-of-other-cultures when they don't get extremely frequent contact.

And by extremely frequent, I mean 2-5 calls a day and 10+ texts. This is, sadly, not unreasonable for Koreans. Japanese girls are often (but not always) lower maintenance, but can be just as clingy; and they're much more often more closed off about their feelings--makes them harder to predict.


Korean FOBs can be loud and/or rude, but so can CBCs or white girls. The other day I was riding the bus while some annoying white bitch was yakking on her phone as loud as anything else about her girlfriends' supposed-to-be-ex-boyfriend and all the drama. I finally got fed up (she was sitting next to me) and turned to her and started replying to what she was saying ("What? No way, he was? She did? What the hell!"). She finally got the message that she was ON THE FUCKING BUS and shouldn't be practically yelling into her phone. She also gave me a pissed off snort and moved.



A whole bunch of korean FOBs I know are quite pleasant and quiet, but yes the language barrier is a problem. Social groups are a problem. Activities and culture and contact norms are problems.

But hey, who knows. You could beat the odds. Or you could just have a fling and have fun.

i think that different races feel they are superior compared to others.....eg. and only as an example...dont take it personally....lets say chinese people feel they are far more superior than umm...koreans.....then obviously to prevent losing face, most chinese people wouldnt date a korean.....as an example....and of course all different ethnicity feel they are superior to others....just what i think.....
