The difference between this model and the one available at Rogers is it is unbranded, and unlocked.
The Rogers model is unable to upgrade to the latest firmware, which is faster and has improved camera functionality.
This phone was purchased directly from a Nokia store in Hong Kong, and retains all functionality.
Can be used with Rogers, Fido, or any other provider that uses a SIM card (GSM). I have used this in Hong Kong, as well as
USA with an Verizon Wireless sim card.
If requested, I can give you the software I have for it, including Garmin maps, to use the onboard GPS navigation
Another benefit, since Rogers forces you to use the GPS with their data plan, and the onboard GPS program Nokia maps,
requires an additional fee if you want navigation.
