I know when I collected shoes, how good of a deal I got and the process I went through to find them was a thrill in my hunt for sneakers.
I bought two DS pairs of Home Guns and St. Pattys for $260 locally back in the day. I flipped the St. Pattys for $230US which meant I practically got the Rayguns for free. I wore the shoes and beat them up a bit and still got $200 when I got out of the game. When I worked at Foot Locker I'd buy shoes for so cheap I was able to wear them and resell them later to make a small profit.
