the only scary transaction i had through cl is when i sold my phone they guy on the phone sounds like some wimpy honger and so i agree to meet at a quite secluded place. Turn out a roid up brown guy show up in a 24 inch spinner escalade with car full of his buddies. I was scare shitless.
Turn out he's the politest person i have even met and surprise surprise he didn't even low ball me 5 bucks when he hand over the cash.

lol shiet...I just got a job offer from Saskatchewan in an email....thinking twice about it now. Bought an iphone off craigslist, the guy never wanted to talk so he kept emailing me and changing the location where to meet, it started inside a mall and progressively ended further and further away until it was across the street from the mall. I was so paranoid cause his email name was Teddy Bruckshot or bruckshut, I did a quick google/facebook and they were all black guys...I was like fuck....hes gonna rape me and run for it. Turns out it was some 16/17yr old samoan kid.

I call bullshit on this article. How reputable is this news source? A sensational headline like that should at least grab the attention of one of the major, local news outlets, but I can find nothing. Not even a one-line summary. Yet, this article is 4 freakin' pages. It's just another thing for people to talk about, and get paranoid while they "yum-cha".

I met up with a guy to sell him a phone, he sounded so young off the phone. When I go to meet up with him, He's with some girl, and we're both on the phone, as I get closer he waives over his buddies and there are like 7 of them, all mid 20's and pretty big in comparison to me and my friend. At first i was like uhh.... but he turned out to be so polite and the transaction was smooth.
