| A guy got kidnapped for 4 hours after selling car on Craigslist
I found this on another chinese forum..
This guy was trying to sell his car on Craigslist, a BMW 520 and agrees to meet up with a potential buyer. The buyer comes with another friend, they go and test drive in a building on No.3/Saba...then 2 other guys jump into the car with a knife, forcing the owner to give up all his belongings. They hold him hostage for 4 hours while trying to transfer the car insurance to another guy.
So scary...

The amount of time it would take to say fuck it and then trying to sell it again will probably be more of a hassle.

So were they able to transfer the BMW car insurance to another guy?
For big-ticket items like a higher-end car, always have a friend around for safety. Quote:

Why would the suspects want to transfer the car insurance over to their name or friend's name? They are either stupid criminals or this story is made up.

BMW hadn't sold a 520i in Canada for AGES.. I highly doubt it is a "higher end car". The only possiblity that a 520i to be in Canada is via Japan.

EDIT: ok i read part of the article. the buyer wants to test it out at the parkade. that should tip most ppl off. unless they are selling a car out of tokyodrift. nobody requests a test drive at the parkade.
