You can always try BBQ salmon, I tend to do some veggies and fruits as well. Grill some zucchini, asparagus, pineapple, bell peppers. You could also do some shrimp skewers.

Cedar plank prime rib, steamed clams or mussels, bacon wrapped scallops, shortribs, grilled pizza using the premade dough from Duso's on Granville Island.

Try thick pork chops marinated overnight, equal portions of apple juice and apple cider vinegar. Add in 2-3 tsp of brown sugar as well as cloves for flavour.

I love to barbecue black cod marinated with miso and soy sauce on top of some aluminum foil (so you get the smoke flavour from the bbq)

I agree with the premarinated tandoori chicken DROOL.

I've always wanted to try to make paella on the grill after watching this bbq show a few years ago. He grilled all the seafood and then cooked it in a cast iron pot with the rice, veggies and other ingredients.

- bbq lamb shanks
- bbq baby squid, make some coconut curry dipping sauce, this freakin rocks!
- bbq bigger squid, just brush it with like that korean bbq sauce or char siu sauce, and ur good!
- bbq beef short ribs. i buy them in large quantities from a butcher up the block. they are a wholesaler with a retail store attached. good stuff!
- ostrich sp? might have to look around for it though.

personally, i like doing like bbq skewered meats with pineapple or something, and u have a bunch of dipping sauces. that way they cook up fast and everyone gets to eat =)

as for veggies, umm, bbq peppers on skewers. they are like mini bell peppers, good stuff. or even bbq ocra.

Hopefully the exterior repairs are done at my building soon so I can use the BBQ on the common deck.

Some other items i forgot are chicken, beef and pork satay. Make some peanut sauce to. Zucchini wrapped with bacon. Anything wrapped in bacon is good. Can even make some BBQ pork, just buy the seasoning packets or make your own.
