I've been playing the demo all day. Man is it a hard game. You really need to learn the moves to progress. I'm having troubles with reversals when in full guard. Damn arm bars.  | |

this looks like a game i can sink into...demo was decent and this seems like a good first fighter game to get for me
do you guys recommend this game for people that's not in the UFC scene?

i was watching invisible walls on gametrailers
and the guy who wrote the review for the game that gave it a 9.0 said himself that he is not a fan of MMA at all.. but as a fighting game its soo deep and sooo flexible, anyone who played it at their office loved it..

I like winning the bonus's and you can see the highlights of that fight you equal.

Every time I find myself in someone's guard and try to pass it, I end up going into side mount. Then from there, I just keep going back and forth from side mount to north-south over and over again. It drives me fucking crazy, I had to stop playing for a couple days.

Anyone here on the 360??? | i play with the stamina bar on, i find it helps. im still gettin the hang of things. i just finished career mode last night 25 wins or something like that and 11 loses, not great but im still learning new stuff. my last fight before retirement was the only title shot i hade ever gotten, retiring with a win, and winning the belt was sweet.
im on xbox if anyone wants to play

man online is so addicting! 19-6 so far 11 via submission.
btw when someone puts you into the muay thai clinch, how do you get out it or reverse into a clinch yourself? I've had people do it to me online, but I've never been able to do it myself. the only way I've been able to get out of it is by timing a takedown when a knee is thrown.

1) how do you mount the guy from full guard? What are the steps?
2) how do I stop them from mounting me when I'm on my back?
3) Whenever I try to pass somebodies guard I automatically go for a leg lock, why?

You gotta get to side mount first, then go to full mount. If youre going to a leg lock it means that you are pressing the grappling button(click). Youre suppose to do a down, down right, right motion.

If you are side control hit LB and do a 11 to 4 o'clock turn which is a major transition (you need to have level 2 wrestling)
Same thing if your in half guard
same for north/south position. Those are major transitions if you want to get to full mount with small transitions just do 11 to 4 until your fully mounted.
