| Free Online Uploading Sites
Ok, so I am having trouble finding sites that let you upload 500Mb or more, that are free. Are there any decent sites that will have this option or are they all premium?
Please and thanks.

Have you tried Yousendit.com? That's the one I use at work to send our designer stuff when his mailbox gets full.

Lol, I'm planning to upload quite a lot of stuff too. Any sites that grant you free Premium when you get enough downloads off your files? Other than Rapidshare.

$$$$$$$$$$ allows up to 1GB for regular users. http://www.$$$$$$$$$$.com
YouSendIt blows now. They were like one of the early pioneers, but I think they sold out... it's so commercial now.

There's Microsoft Windows Live Skydrive, which is free and gives you up to 25 GB of storage. The only catch is there's a 50 MB per file limit (WinRAR can compress files/folders and split them).

If you just want to send it to one person, you can use something like FileDropper or Pipebytes that lets you just send from PC to PC.

Those two sites seem to function the same as all the other ones. Good recommendations though... never heard of those two sites.

I use drop box.
not sure if i can post referral links, but if we can't i'll remove it.
basic is 2gb, and when signing up from referrals, both you and i get an extra 256mb.
you can keep using referrals to get an additional 3gb for freees. https://www.getdropbox.com/referrals/NTcxNDUxNjk
very handy for me to use, just drag/drop, copy public link. |

Hold on, I just checked out MU and it says on this page, that I can have up to 200Gb? http://www.$$$$$$$$$$.com/?c=premium
If so, I'm going to use both MU and DropBox.
Side note, are we allowed to have Referral Links/download links in our signatures?

Pipebytes does a PC to PC connection (I guess via their servers). It's great if you don't want to wait for it to finish uploading to one site before the recipient downloads it, or your file is too big for some of these sites to host.
However, my IT admin said it sent a bunch of Websense alerts to them when I used it so I wouldn't use it if you're using it at work to move files around.
