Wireless router recommendations?

So my D-Link 524 has been acting up lately dropping connection to my PS3 and laptop and im thinking of letting it rot in some asian chemical processing plant...jk. But anyways yeah I need a new router and wanted to ask you guys some q's about some that im thinking of buying.

I've narrowed it down to the Linksys WRT54G and GL series and was looking at obviously flashing them to DD WRT or Tomato. Thing is GL's are hard to find without spending over 70$ on and most G models cant be flashed to Tomato. Is DD WRT comparable to Tomato? If it is, I mind as well just buy a cheap WRT45G on craigslist and flash it to DD WRT and call it a day. I dont wanna spend 70+ for a GL just for Tomato when I can buy some newer router (possibly N) at some shop. Another q: Is wireless N even worth it right now? Im only on a basic telus ADSL connection and it's only being shared with 3 PCs and 1 PS3. Is it worth it to ditch the WRT45's for a Wireless N? Thanks

An N router will give you better signal strength than B/G even if your devices don't support it yet. Check out the D-Link DIR-6x5 series.
