GRESHAM, Ore. - A Gresham woman has been arrested on charges she gave teenagers marijuana and alcohol in exchange for sex.

Police say Jennifer Lynn Wills, 30, befriended 15- and 17-year-old boys and girls in the area, gave them pot and booze, and then sexually abused them. She is in a wheelchair due to a car accident.

BNR32_Coupe 04-12-2009 02:09 AM

this goes to show women in their prime (around 30's) can be as sexually explicit as men. biological clock is ticking, time to go find a mate and pass the torch before eternal bedtime

Why?

They kids were underaged anyways. It isn't like they could've gotten the alcohol or weed even if it was legal.

you're right, weed is more accessible than alcohol for kids

I suppose it would depend on your definition of a "kid". For someone who is 15 or 17, I would consider them teenagers.

And as such, both drugs are relatively easy to access.

Am I the only one who feels sorry for this woman?

Prostitution isn't legal, so it's not like she could hire a man(or could afford it?)

I couldn't imagine looking like her, being in a wheelchair, and still need sexual relationships. How?

prostitution is illegal on the streets i think. massage parlors and brothels are OK. i dont know this for sure but i know that theres undercover prostitutes to bust john's and i've never heard of a brothel sting operation or undercover massage parlor cops

There are massage parlor raids for sex workers and since prostitution is illegal, it would make brothels illegal as well. This is considering that a brothel is a house of prostitution by definition.

I don't know what you're definition of a brothel is but... It seems like your brain might have skipped a note on this one.

What would lead you to make an assumption that I skipped the definition of a brothel?

Because you said massage parlors and brothels are ok for prostitution and that it was illegal in the streets. But since the act of prostitution itself is illegal, it wouldn't be legal anywhere.

Well I apologize that you think my brain skipped a beat (wtf?) but I clearly stated that I wasn't sure if such forms of prostitution were illegal based on the fact that in all the times I've been watching and reading the media, I personally haven't heard of a massage parlor, or brothel (essentially a less covered up massage parlor) sting raid. Just by driving down kingsway or no.3 road, I can point out several obvious "health spa's" which most likely would pertain to such definitions, by using obvious judgment. However, these locations are still in operation, which would lead me to conclude that either the legality of these places are OK, or there's a loop-hole for them to maintain their existence. Does this logic seem flawed to you?

In the US, this is true.

In Canada, Solicitation is illegal, while prostitution is legal.

If I choose to pay for someone's time and we then decide to have sex, there is nothing illegal about that. If I pay for smoeone to have sex with me, that is illegal.

After Graeme cleared it up then yes it does. I thought prostitution was illegal when it is only solicitation that is.
