Cigar lighter plug STUCK!

I bought a heated steering wheel wrap from Canadian Tire in the winter and it uses a cigarette lighter plug.

And YES, the cheap thing got stuck in the socket and when I pulled it, the plastic part of the receptacle came out but the metal part stayed inside. Has this happened to you or anyone?

I tried using pryers to pull it out but it just won't budge and seems like I would break something if I pull too hard. The socket now cant be used as the piece inside is stuck.

What kind of car is it?
You may have to take the lighter socket apart and remove it that way.
Any car audio Revscene sponsor can do that for you.
