Oh well, we still gotta drive. But, If I'm correct 91/92 has always been 12 cents more than 87/89. At least that's what I've been paying for a while now.

Yep, I get better mileage with chevron 87 than husky 90.

I only use husky just before aircare.

Bleh. sometimes it annoys me that I HAVE to put 94 octane in my 968. it doesn't like 92 and anything less and the check engine light comes on and won't go away.

now really....is a couple of dollars that big of a fucking deal when it comes to gas?
stop eating that McDonalds cheeseburger everyweek and you have yourself some decent gas in your vehicle.

i dont understand why people bitch and whine about a few cents...jesus fuck, if you're that cheap, why drive?

Cause Chevron has better gas. If you want valve problems keep putting crap gas into your car.

whats wrong with ethanol blended gas? there is not enough mohawk/husky stations in my area to take adantage of the 91 they offer anyways. my car requires 92. putting in 91 i dont think would be such a big deal would it?

A couple dollars adds up. Gas has more than doubled in price over the past 10-15 years.

Remember, you're driving a $60+K car, so you're hardly one to give advice about affording a couple cents, you obviously have money to waste.

I came from driving a honda...and majority of the RS crowd did not drive 10-15yrs ago, so that really doesnt add any effect.

people really shouldn't whine and complain about gas prices...nothing they can do will change it. The only way is to change your lifestyle to better suit the rising prices.

If you have the money to drive, you should have money to maintain it. If you can't cope with the rising prices, sell your car and take the bus.

Good on you for assuming i have money to waste...you're totally on right on it...

That's not true, we can do something.

The drop in US consumption has been felt hard, OPEC cannot cut enough to drive the price back up. This wasn't done by some magical fairy, it was done by the average driver deciding to drive less and supply/demand setting the price lower.

I've reduced my gas bill from ~$200/mn to ~$100/mn. Now that I'm biking to work, I hope to get it down to ~$50/mn.

I hope you're joking those same kids you criticize for not driving 10-15 years ago are probably making $15-20/hr and don't appreciate someone driving a CLK effectively telling them "pay up suckas"
