2.1cm wider than the C6 Corvette and 3.5 narrower than a new Viper that's at the widest point not including the mirrors. it's chassis is also stiffer than an M3s ;) |
ur hyundai is fat :p but modding on these thing are endless |
shit i didn't know genesis was so big! it makes gtr doesn't look big at all. BTW, whats wrong with them putting in nissan engine? original motor was mitsubishi anyway. |
For fucks sake guys, there's a Nascar V8 stuffed into a Scion, I know technically its a Toyota engine in a 'Toyota' car, yet that's just as bad as not being able to tune an OEM Toyota or Scion engine and having to resort to something else. |
they let rhy millen run a nissan engine in a hyundai, but ruled that a skyline using modified laurel suspension parts is illegal.... |

Not sure if the Solstice is still being used (Rhys' former ride) but I think that basically had a completely custom front suspension. |

ok so...the V6 is still made by Mitsubishi or what? |
Whats even funnier about FD is that you can't use aero mirrors, but you're allowed to build a RWD Scion with a Nascar engine. Oh noes, plastic shattering all over the ground! When bumpers and sideskirts are the no.1 thing to break and shatter all over the place. haha |

Hyundai hasn't used the Mitsu's V6 engine since it ended the production of 2006 Santa Fe with the Sigma engine so I don't know where you're getting that from. The Genesis Coupe uses the Lambda RS (upgraded 'version of Hyundai's existing Lambda engine from '04). http://www.allpar.com/mopar/world-engine.html |

In a way...but can't really claim that since the header design, intake port, valve timing, and manifold are all different for the three engines. Plus the Hyundai engine has an open deck block (too much boost = warp the cylinders) unlike the Evo's 4B11T with a semi-closed deck. Maybe that's the reason they used a Nissan engine lol http://www.genesisdriven.com/posts/2...-pictures.html |

in the case of the Autobacs R34, I think the team simply neglected to inform the Formula D inspectors of the slight change. if they listed out the modification on a spec sheet somewhere, they probably would have been passed. |
