SLR Roadster and 722S

Passing by Broadway Mercedes tonight, I saw these inside the showroom. No questions asked, had to slam on the brakes and check them out. I didn't even know 722S was coming to Canada, let alone Vancouver. Talk about nuts...

Wow, the 722S is pure sex. Kind of surprised the SLRs weren't roped off.

The 772(non-S) is only .1 seconds faster compared to the normal SLR.

Saw a black SLR on Robson a couple weeks ago. I totally thought it was a regular SL till it got closer and I saw the side exhausts! Plate was "DF SLR" or smth.

I'll be damned if i dont get a zonda before dropping 700g's on something so bland. It's like the difference between a carrera and a turbo. The average non car person wouldn't know.

SLR's are nice but no way in hell is it worth $600,000+. Hell you could pull out a F430 and LP560 for that kind of money.

having spent a lot of seat time in the SLR, and many Murci's... go with the Murci. few know the diff between SL and SLR when it comes down to it, sad but true. And sorry to say, but when you spend that kind of money on a car, you are looking to get noticed, and nothing gets you noticed like a bright blue/orange/yellow even black murci rev matching downshifts up to a stop light.
