gear to create electronic/hip hop music

i'm just starting to create my own electronic music, i got myself a microkorg and a kaossilator. i'm just wondering what the next piece of equipment i should get?

i've been looking into a sequencer to make loops, i actually found a great app on the ipod touch called beatmaker. the price is defintely better than an akai mpc.
