i'd never want to hire somebody who spends 25 years to design one fucking business card
i dont care if your card is as effective as oprah marketing a product. 25 years.
what a tool

What do you think? Nice. That is really super. I can’t believe that Bryce prefers Van Patten’s card to mine. But wait. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet. Raised lettering, pale nimbus white. Impressive.

talk about being behind the times.. i thought it had an rfid or something cool.. a pop up picture? fucking hell.

Orion 04-23-2009 12:28 AM

did I hear him say he knows companies worth $10000 a year? wtf

The guy forgot the reason why some people have business cards... they hand them to people they meet and sometimes take notes on the card based on things they learn of that person... don't think you can write on that card...

Armind 04-23-2009 12:40 AM

I've seen better.

25 years.. LOL :haha:

Chuck Norris 04-23-2009 07:13 AM

That guy is a fucking idiot.

First off, it took him 25 years to design that card. I don't know about you guys but if it takes you 25 years to design something it better be more than a musical playing pop-up piece of shit.

Next thing, in the business world where some people are busy as fuck and are making shit loads of cash, they don't have time to deal with that kind of business card. Most places would just through it out.

It is a cool idea if you job is a marketer or something that requires you to 'get noticed' but one of the key elements in any business is being personable. If someone likes you, that is far more powerful than if they THINK you're good at you job. Again this is subjective but from what I see in New York and Boston you bet your ass.

I still want one though.

Part time business starting out that's only doing it on the side, like my photography. I'm not making enough to live off it.

Noir 04-23-2009 12:52 PM

I would throw that card out just as fast as the flyers I get handed to me on the street.

(which is as soon as I'm not in plain sight of the person handing it out and at the soonest convenient trash bin).
