Retarded cop haha. This ain't the U.S. with american muscle cop cars that can easily rip it up in a hurry to catch you. Canadian cop cars are a piece of crap. What was this cop thinking, trying to catch a ferrari.

don't american police use Crown Victorias like we do?

hk20000 04-23-2009 02:53 AM

their highway patrol usually something more powerful and faster.

Just curious, how far does the 'no fly zone' extend across on the YVR?

I'm pretty sure AIR1 can't fly anywhere near the Arthur Lang bridge and perhaps even the Oak st bridge and all the surrounding areas in Richmond. Wonder if it's the same for the Abbotsford Airport.

Why wouldn't Air1 fly near richmond..................

both Air1 and Air2 would take fuel at South Terminal.

PS. For all those ripping on the cop, let's see YOU try catching up to a Ferrari in a Crown Vic as part of your JOB, not just for fun, and see how well you do pushing that wobbly boat.

Iceman-19 04-23-2009 06:04 AM

Doesnt sound like erratic driving, I am sure the driver of the Ferrari was driving like that on purpose.

They still got some LS1 camaros on the road, but they are starting to phase them out too and switching over to the G8. We used to have them but not anymore. I remember see one for sale on autotrader and the guy was asking like $10000 for it just because it was a x-cop car.

Cop has syndrome or power trip. Unless it's rush hour, there is no chance in hell the cop is going to close in on a Ferrari at all.

Use the radio.

tiger_handheld 04-23-2009 08:13 AM

can the cop not see the color of the ferrari + licence plate? how hard is it to track a ferrai in vancouver?

A Port Moody cop closing in on a Ferrari? All they do best is hang out at tim hortons and pull people over for doing 60km/h in a 50km/h zone.

I wonder if the driver of the ferrari was asian.. If he is I think I have an idea as to who it was :lol

ws6ta 04-23-2009 10:28 AM

LOL what a goof that cop is. I bet he was putting more people in danger trying to catch a ferrari then the ferrari itself. I bet the owner of the ferrari just pinned it as soon as he saw the cop. If the cop pulled him over a simple "oh I didn't see you yes I was speeding" would have kept him out of any major trouble anyways.

1exotic 04-23-2009 10:38 AM

Women cop vs Ferrari = not a chance....

talk about a 240+kph run down #1 hwy at 3 am... it was already flying, I saw the spotlight come on, and booked to SFU into some apartments parking (which I had the remote for). And there was a buncha cops at the gate who told me to come out >_<

lol... stupid things i've done...

StylinRed 04-23-2009 10:51 AM

aw... i was hoping for a video + high speed chase + drug dealer firing at the chopper + his car getting taken out + him going on foot and getting hit by 'accident' by a cop car

;)

fliptuner 04-23-2009 11:14 AM

Motorola = faster than Ferrari
cop = endangering public safety for even trying

Should've just radio'd ahead. Barnet Hwy. only goes between St John's and Hastings.
