Thoughts on the 4/20 celebration?
 

I was looking at Wednesday's 24hr newspaper when I saw this person's feedback about the pot celebration and laughed:

Imagine the look on Derek Li's face if you told him some people that hold very high position in society smoke pot.

I think this Derek guy is actually trying to point out the pot rally it is a slap in the face for the police department. Having so many people gather to celebrate a banned substance shows their lack of effectiveness in the so called 'drug war'.

NO. I like the 420 celebration. The best thing about it isn't really the pot. It's the multiplied liberal-hottie count ratio concetrated in a 1 block radius.

It really benefits all the DT residents. :D

You know how much pressure the water has? The water is cold too, people can catch colds or get hypothermia.

The way it should be done is get a pick up truck full of garbage bags. Then put up a huge sign on the truck saying "Free WEED by the pounds" then roll by the place. All the stoners will start chasing the truck. Lead them to an underground parking lot. Enough said.

LOL no wonder downtown was PACKED that day. Leaving work in downtown, there were so many kids wandering the streets after 420.

I feel sad for people that smoke weed actually. If your life is shitty enough that you need drugs to escape reality then you have bigger problems than smoking an illicit substance.

I don't think it's an immoral act in itself, but I do think most people who partake tend to be idiots and that they tend to live an immoral lifestyle.

Funny thing is, it's actually people who have the same mentality as you who actually tend to be the idiots and generalize... and I don't even smoke regularly.. but I am taking the Barristers' and Solicitors' Oath in about 3 weeks

You'll hate to know that a significant number of the doctors, lawyers, and dentists out there (in addition to a many other high educated professionals) all smoked pot when they were younger, and some still do to this day.

The pollution rate must have skyrocketed at that point.

Agreed. Anyone who smokes pot or does drugs is an idiot. There's absolutely no need to use illegal substances like that and by doing it you just prove how stupid you really are. It doesn't do your body any good whatsoever.

Police should have entered the rally and arrested random people. You can't get them all, but you can get some. Make an example out of them by throwing them in jail, fining them... We don't need losers like that.
