If the alarm goes off every 10 minutes and you said it went on for 6-7 times, that's 60-70 minutes already! I would cut the neighbor some slack if I were you. Everyone there probably lost an hour of sleep because of you, and will be predictably annoyed.

The mailbox thing is more a courtesy than anything. It happens in our complex too. So often in fact that a few months ago, our strata put a '5 Minute Parking Only' sign in front of the stall next to the mailboxes.

wow im still awake at 5am but i know what its like being awakened while trying to sleep (wood chipper today at 1pm omg)

as have been said i think id be trying to turn your alarm off for you by smashing the car into pieces until i got to the horn
