Douchebag Neighbor
 

So new neighbor moved in 2 months ago, everything went well and quiet.

Until last month I got home around 5 am after a party, i was exhausted and hop onto my bed. I believed just happend that day my alarm was defected, so it goes off every 10 mins. I silence the alarm everytime it went off, but it was at 5 in the morning and i was lazy to get out of my bed to check what is wrong with it.

After 6 or 7 times alarm on and off, I heard there was banging and kicking on my door. I was half sleep at that point so i kinda ignore it and responded 5 mins later. I put on my shirt and walk out the door, no one was at the door.

Since i was already out the bed, so i took my car down the street to nearby school parking lot and trying to figure out whats wrong with my alarm.

Finally i gave up and just took the breaker of horn off to prevent further alarm noise.

The afternoon i woke up, the neighbor was asking me why the fuck my alarm keep going on and off and he tried to knock on the door but no one answer.

I explained to him; he didnt buy it and I also had to told him he could ring the doorbell instead of kicking and banging on the door.

So he told/threat me if it happens again, he is gonna call the police on me, i told him go ahead next time, i dont give a shit even if police shows.

I am a reasonable guy but he got me to a point that is over my limit that i had to explode.


Two days ago, I parked my car by the mail box and was reading few mails I just retrived from the box. Neighbor park behind me, and said " cant you read those mail at your house, you can free up the space here"
* No one was parked along that curb; and the distance where he had to walk is less than 10 second to reach the mailbox; although i was parked right beside the mailbox where walking distance is less than 5 second ( if that's even a big of deal of 5 sec difference)

I told him straight up,
"is this your property?"
"............"
"thats what i thought"

he had nothing to come back at me and just left after retreived his mails.


I mean does people got nothing better to do ? i know its at my fault in the begining, but why so serious ?? why being such a douchebag?

Honestly, I would've been kicking your car door in at that point.

Its 5am, have some respect, get up and turn it off. Sounds like you're the douchebag, so no wonder when he finds you parked infront of the mailbox (illegally?) you get further disrespect.

thats weird that your alarm would go off like it. Its kind of your fault cause i would be pissed if you were my neighbour and the alarm kept going off like that. I think he did what anyone else would have done in that situation (besides kicking the door ofcourse).
The guys a dick. I can't believe he assumed you were doing it on purpose cause that is bullshit. If u knew u were having alarm problems in the past u prob should have gotten it checked out. The mailbox thing is bullshit though, everyone in my neighbourhood does what you do (opens/checks mail in car at mailbox) and thats fine, if yoru in front of the mailbox and someone comes up in a car behind you to check theirs... its just common courtosy (sp) to move.

I have a neighbour w/ 3 kids in their teens who bitch about the way i drive. her kids play hockey in the middle of the fucking street and cant take it down to the end of the cul-ti-sac where its totally open. instead they have to block everyone trying to go home or leave home. This bitch pisses me off soo much. Ive lived here the longest out of anyone and she just moved in like 3 years ago. BITCH I OWN THIS STREET! she can bitch all she wants.

Oh, and kudos to your neighbour for getting into trouble w/ u. usually neighbours try to befriend their neighbours so they have someone watching over their house when they go on vacation, etc. lol dumbass neighbours

why bother having an alarm that doesnt work properly...honestly id also be pissed if i was ur neighbor

i was on the car while going thru my mails, i was there for like 2 mins until he pulled behind me.

and no..its not illegally... i could parked there all night long if i wanted...

it worked fine until that day...........

its the first time im having the alarm issue

to specify ... i didnt let the alarm goes off for longer than 1 horn each time...

but like i said.. it went off about 6 or 7 times... each time with 1 horn, then i silence it hahahha :D

Come on. Man up. You were the douche first for not giving a fvck so now he's being a douche to you.

Like the others I would have also been upset that the alarm was going off at 5am, however I wouldn't have "Kicked" or "Banged" on the door..just rang the bell. So that was the neighbors fault.

Your fault for letting the alarm go off like that instead of just taking off the fuse for the alarm/taking off the battery.

If that happened to me, and my neighbors were that angry, i'd be EMBARASSED and apologize!!

I would be pissed. and i did apologized and explained. I even took my car off my own driveway and left the block to nearby parking lot to resolve the alarm issue.

At least i didnt fucking test my alarm on the driveway and it wasnt intentional. WHo knew my alarm will goes off on that day and at 5am. It never happend before. If i knew my alarm has historical issue, i would have gotten it taken down.

I did the right thing, i still got up and answer the door, but he left already.
It takes time for me to put on some cloth as well.

It's not like i let the alarm goes off for freaking 5 full mintues, again.. i apologized and resolve the problem. what more does he expect?
I dont often stay home during the weekend, but whenever im at home during the weekend, they are blasting their music and party everytime that i could hear them inside my basement. not to mention it goes on till 4 am or beyond.
where is his consideration at then ?

holy shit, the whole time while reading this i thought he was talking about his sleeping alarm clock! i was wondering how his neighbour could even hear it lol... i figured out that he was talking about his car alarm when you guys started mentioning it... and yea that is a total disturbance on your part especially at 5am

over 5 times, holy fuck man, OP's fault hands down. You're very lucky to have nothing happen to your car. Your neighbors a good guy for not doing anything to it yet.
