Anyone know Oil Sands Jobs In Alberta?

Summers just around the corner and I just finished school for a couple months until September. It seems everywhere I apply that hires more than $12 an hour isn't hiring. I don't want to work for minimum wage this summer.

I've been looking into the Oil Sands jobs up north, but haven't really had any success in finding them. Does anyone know where to go to get these jobs.

I hear about them all the time from kids at school that did them. I applied for Geotech Drilling in Prince Rupert, but they told me they're not hiring.

Any idea's where to go for these jobs. People tell me that they hire all the time, and have large turn-over rates because of the hours and work.

Any input would be great.

The oil sands have slowed big time. People that have been working there for years are getting laiad off. You are going to have a tought time finding a job down there.

If your just gonna do general pipe work your out of luck man. I have lots of friends that have come back from the rigs because work has stopped. They are all looking for backup jobs.
