I didn't think those exist anymore.

They do. I know a few. They have genuinely good hearts, want to be good, flawed, but still fight what malice they have. They don't always get the best out of life, but they are some of the happiest, most sincere and incredible people I know.

They're rare, I tell you, but when you find them, they are the most loyal and awesome people to know. All they need are the genuinely good girls to find them. :lol

^that's because they choices are limited and so they set that mindset for themselves. I bet if they woke up one day and suddenly was able to get any girl they want, they'd change just like that.

Conversely, it could probably also be said that their choices are so limited because of their mindset.

Not exactly the conventional "nice guy" here, but that's my guess.

Why are they limiting their choices? I never said they were like that. Not all of them are sulking anti-socialists with girl or interaction issues, but even then, what's wrong with knowing the type of girl one would go for?

Nice guys with no confidence finish last. Nice guys with self esteem finish waaaayyy ahead of the pack. Humility isn't thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less. You can be nice and still stand out.


Fuck, girls who are actually worth your time won't miss that.

You know what? Being "nice" isn't all that special. You can act nice, pretend, game, whatever. Being nice alone is useless, may indeed lead to finishing "last."

Being genuinely good, on the other hand, is something else. I think if one pursued that, then the girls that you will naturally want to pursue you would be the ones that are worth it. Maybe. :p

That's because "nice girls" don't put out. (well, fast enough I mean) for fear of falling out of the category of "nice girl."

I think when guys are honest with themselves and have some confidence then being nice will only benefit them. how can anyone expect to find closeness/long term relationship if they are always lying to themselves about themselves.

Yes women want someone attrative, but attractiveness changes in the eye of the beholder. They also do want financial stability. That does not mean that we all look for drop dead models with tons of green. Financial stability can be worked towards.

It's so annoying to hear repeated comments about having to have money or having to treat women like princesses. If thats what you believe then yes thats what you'll find. Women who are lying to themselves about themselves.

Penner2k is right. You dont' need to stop your life to show her you are interested. Showing with whatever level your comfortable with of sexual attention will portray that you are attracted.

Why waste time asking others when is the right time to hold hands, etc. It was the right time when you first thought of it in her presence.

Realistically I think there are a lot of "nice" guys and there are a lot of "nice" girls. Its just that the nice guys are butt hurt because they can't get any "bad" girls and they come on RS to complain. Don't over look the "nice" girls, because I did, and it sucks. Its part of growing up I guess. I used to be big on this being "nice" and being an "asshole" thing, but seriously, be yourself and you will eventually find someone who likes you for who you are, not the nice guy you are trying to pretend or the asshole you are trying to be...Nice guys don't finish last they are just 2D a person living in a 3D world.
