| BBT on Boulevard review
Despite their expansion, service is amazingly bad.
The water melon juice ordered was overly sweetened, probably to mask its foul taste. When asked for a version with less syrup, the fruit gone bad sour rotten taste became more pronounced. Obviously, it was returned as well.
The most pathetic part of the story is that they had the guts to sneak the item back on the bill, and pretended that nothing was wrong when challenged.
I guess I'm spoiled by Cactus Club service?

Its in Kerrisdale--W. Boulevard and W. 44 I believe.
One block south of the Kerrisdale community center.

It's on the west side of Boulevard, a block south of the HK style cake shop Michelle's.
BBT looks quite clean and welcoming on the outside, but with the way they deal with customers, tricking them to pay for returned items, we'll never go back.
Servers' attitude is bad, and when combined with their weak English level, is particularly annoying. A most frustrating experience. When we returned the hardly touched bad water melon juice, they look puzzled and keep repeating normal without even bothering to smell it.
The possibility of fruit rotting seems to have escaped the server's mind.
We felt we almost had to pretend having a diarrhea in front of them to make a point. But then, it probably wouldn't matter as they would still put it on the bill.
