as ive said before the 458 side and rear profile had potential to be one of the all time great super cars, the front just looks so out of place imo

No worries. 1 and 6 series look like trash to me because of their front ends (don't care about the M this or M that nonsense, ugly either way). 1 has the big "HAI IT'S ME" headlights, and the 6 has the sleepy, saggy-eyelids headlights.

Might as well let it out there, anything from Maserati lately is blehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to me.

Unpopular as they may be, those are my thoughts.

Well said, well said. I feel the same about both the 1 and 6 series haha.

The 458 front end, on the other hand, is one of my favourites.

i think the 458 front is a bit boring, but im in love with Lamborghini front and back ends. Really agressive, the LED lighting in the front of those cars scream

The front of the 458 seems to fall into the whole love it or hate it

As far as some people saying SLR>SLS I think they need to look at the price of those 2 cars to really understand what each car is all about, as well as what each offers.

I mean you look at the SLS today and that car has a MSRP of $198,000. To me that's quite good value for what you get. But again another love it or hate it car.

Where as the SLR was what, $450,000 USD MSRP? Often showing up far, FAR north of that price.

For me the SLS is one of my favourites out there right now, right up there with the Gallardo and 458. That and the fact I love the 300SL styling!

Figured I'll throw up my only recent spot (haven't been active over the last few days)

What are the rules to do with front license plates? I know you it's a fine for not having one, but it's not points correct?

Also with many cars having amazing looks often ruined by plates, what are other ways around it? I think i saw some sort of sticker plate earlier in this thread?

That's precisely it. 1 looks RETARED to me. 6 looks like it had too much to drink last night.

IMO, the best looking car in Bimmer's current line up is still E92.

shall we continue with pictures?

finally checked out the Maybach in north van dealer. this thing is a masterpiece. the interior is the best part of this car and i couldn't take any photos because of windows reflection. they also had 2 SLS's in there.
