Spotted the matte R8 followed by a black R8 tonight on Granville St.

I also spotted a black RR ghost last night on Granville and w41st and I spotted the same asian guy driving a black RR drophead around the same spot at almost the same time a few weeks back. I think someone posted that the drophead was a demo car driven by some BMW sales guy?

boostfever 05-24-2010 01:46 AM

wasn't the ghost dark grey?

there's one around town, demo plates.

Harvey Specter 05-24-2010 03:43 AM

BlackZRoadster 05-24-2010 11:47 AM

It must haul ass with the V12.

boostfever 05-24-2010 08:12 PM

the widebody looks pretty tacky on the Cayman. IMO

it looks like the pieces are glued on the front fenders. cheaply done.

TalonTurbo 05-24-2010 08:15 PM

hmm... i think thats just how techart designed it.

i've seen a few on the web, they are all like that.

Hondaracer 05-24-2010 08:29 PM

cayman is ugly to begin with imo

i guess a bit of that extra cost goes towards the saving for not using gas.

but im sure repair/maintenance will cost a lot

Harvey Specter 05-24-2010 10:10 PM

Spotted the RR again, this time parked infront of some asian place down on Granville St. I turned around to snap some pictures and it was gone.

hotong 05-24-2010 10:10 PM

electric motors have wayyyy fewer parts than a piston engine does..

but being a special car and all, of course they'll charge a special price to repair it.

oh, and the most costly part is most likely either the body work or the battery itself.
