Excuse my nubness, but what is so special about the "dakar edition"?

^edition m3 was produced in 2010, not only in dakar yellow, but also in monte Carlo blue and alpine white iirc, there are just some cosmetic changes like gloss black grills, reverse colored side mirrors, black wheels and black exhaust tips.

dakar yellow is just a legendary colour, purely cosmetic. its been around for awhile

Oh, interesting that it's for sale at LoV. A black LM002 has been posted on Weissaches website as arriving soon for awhile now, I wonder if the consignment/deal fell through. What's an LM002 worth?

I'm guessing around the 120,000$ mark. I can't begin to imagine how expensive upkeep is on it. Replacing the wheels alone would cost you half a porsche.
