wow red lambo, that is a rare spot

vo_hantu 08-03-2010 09:08 AM

I usually run the car like this, but I do have spare trunks and bumpers to make it more 'street' appropirate. It's a lot of work...to swap in between events so I just run it like this whenever I drive it. lazy ftw :)

Thanks for looking.

i said a real enthusiast wouldn't buy a n/a supra in the first place
where did i say nobody would buy a n/a supra?
i understand there's people out there that don't give a shit about hp, but no REAL car enthusiast is going to buy a n/a supra
what makes a supra so great is it 2jzgte engine, v160 manual tranny, and differential
when you buy a n/a supra you get none of that stuff. all you get is the look of a supra.
buying a car purely on its look = not a real car enthusiast

So when you look at your car do you consider yourself a real car enthusiast? Your rsx pretty much has all cosmetic mods...and all the plans you have for your rsx are even more cosmetic mods..so what point are you trying to make here?

Not bashing you but everyone spends their money on what they want. Let it be.

The blue tape is damage from clipping an apex, I just haven't had time to fibreglass, repaint, and repair it. I'll probably get it done after the upcoming track day in October..

I just want to say nice car. I've read up on your s2k prior to reading this and I absolutely love it. (i hope to get one too:thumbsup:) I think its awesome how u do all the work yourself. +1 for an awesome car and dedication

sick s2k man! one of the best looking one i've seen! but IMO it would look better with two tailpipes instead of just one

I totally agree with your comment lol.

here's a photo to stay on topic...I thought it was 'sick' because I don't see this color too often. It's like a not-so-flashy ferrari, but still flashy?

That red Gallardo has 40,000 km's+. yikes.

Z3guy 08-03-2010 01:22 PM

^ that is allot of kms, but the high kms would not deter me if the clutch was changed and the maintenance records were up to date......however, I would expect a healthy discount....for example if a 04/05 low kms (20K kms or less) Gallardo go for between $80k to $100k, this red one would be worth approx. $60-$75k....if it sold for less than $70K, it is a pretty good deal!

1exotic 08-03-2010 01:31 PM

vo_hantu, nice s2000, I think I've seen your car around a few times.

also that gallardo has been around for quite sometime, I remember seeing it driving in the rain on the highway a few years ago.

Thanks. Good info on the Lambo, the license plate was a demo plate...weird.

I think I've seen your car before, do you have a blue LED in the back? Might have been a reflection off something.

here are some photos, wave if you see me (I really don't think this belongs in this thread, but I'll post some photos anyway for you guys)

Disgregard this photo, I got wider street tires (255 RE-11s) on last week so I fill in the new fenders. They are flush that they are rubbing...so I need to trim more and re-align after I lower it this week.

...and if you guys are really bored, this was my write up on s2ki.

who's going to check it out? it's huge.

I went by the dealer this afternoon. They are not open yet. Had a paper sign on the front door saying something like "We are closed, sorry for the inconvenience. We will be open soon."

Notice the four exhaust pipes, two in the center exhaust tip and then another two on each side of the diffuser. Odd that they did not rout all four to the center tip

this ain't the states, the price he's asking for a 2005 model here is pretty fair, especially for a super rare colour... pretty high mileage but It will probably sell above 100k.

Or the color could be a bad thing, I noticed on other forums (lambopower, ferrarichat) red is really not the choice of color for Lamborghini owners. I'm also referring to the red murcielago that keeps coming and going at weissach. I know other things like the condition of the car and the e-gear problem it has plays a big factor but i'm sure the color also reflects the resell value/time...Just my 2 cents
