A Porsche 911?? I think the Beemer 3 series is the Honda Civic of Vancouver. :considered:

Vancouver doesn't have that much offshore wealth to make the 911 that common of a car. It's not Dubai. :lawl:

911's aren't exactly peasant spec cars.

more like barons. :lawl:

Kids would be jumping all over Thomas is they saw his face. Smart move actually but still hilarious.

loong 05-19-2016 09:47 AM

It reminds me of the last scene from Ant-man.

Italians sure know how to make a pretty car.....too bad they don't know how to make reliable car:okay:

donjalapeno 05-19-2016 02:30 PM

^ only if italians, germans and japanese can tag team and make a wicked car.

underscore 05-19-2016 03:36 PM

An Italian design with the Japanese handling everything else would be awesome.

No Japanese content found, but Lamborghini really kicked it into the 21st century when ze Germans took over. They went from a small, disorganized factory in Sant Agata with poor record keeping, to state of the art German efficiency. It's helped immensely, since their production tripled in that time period. Back in the day, if you needed a part or your vehicle history, they actually needed to go into the old filing cabinets to collect the original documents. Add to that the fact that they would use whatever bits and pieces they had lying around and you have a tough time. For example, some late model countach cars had Diablo engines. Not all, just some.

The Germans saved Lamborghini. They allowed the Italians to design a car, while taking on the task of organizing all of the little details.

donjalapeno 05-19-2016 04:04 PM

I keep forgetting Lamborghini is basically German now haha.

The new Fiat 124 Spider is essentially that. Miata everything except the design and engine, assembled in Japan.

Z3guy 05-20-2016 06:44 AM

^ that is one Italian design I think the Japanese did a better job.....

^ the abarth version definitely looks nice, but just seems overdone and aftermarketish. I saw a new Miata lowered with TE37s and it looks really clean with just enough aggression. Well done Mazda!

Galactic_Phantom 05-20-2016 10:32 AM

If it is going to sound anything like the Abarth 500 then :megusta:
