Werd, this kind of stubborn unremorseful attitude warrants a decade long ban in driving. Kid shouldn't drive until after he reaches 30.

Those cars were not crushed for street racing, the drivers/cars were involved in other illegal activity.

Its the loophole the OPP are not stating in the media, since they cannot crush cars for street racing alone.

i think its pretty stupid to crush there cars there is no profit in it. Why dont they take the cars away from them and strip them and sell the parts than crush just the shell or sell the shell. It would make more sense to me if they would actually make money off this. You always here about police asking for more funding more money for more officers and yet they have these cars in there possesion and dont know how to make money off them instead they just crush them im sure they could sell the engines rims kits and all.

Werd. And what's up with burning and destroying the narcotics and firearms they confiscate? They could make so much money reselling those items too.

And the police have the audacity to ask for more funding money...

Most likely, by destroying firearms, the police prevent the same criminals from buying them back. And the cops are SO not going to resell narcotics.

I think you missed it.

It was a sarcastic comment as to why it's deemed a waste that the cars (or its parts) were not resold for profit. I didn't really mean that cops should profit as well from the firearms and narcotics they seize.

With some of the people on RS, sometimes one just doesn't know if that was an honest statement.

On the flip side, if they ever legalized weed..

again,
crashing the cars with test dummies inside into each other would have had a much better effect
