Brand new 2008 Mazda RX8 for $12000 off msrp

I know lots of ppl has something to say for the shitty MPG and rotary engine, but $12000 off is a big $$. If you can locate a 2008 RX8, Mazda is giving out big discount on it. 8 yrs 160,000km warranty on Rotary core/seal.

I am picking up mine this weekend. 2008 GT 6MT with moon roof brand new for under $30K Freigth/PDI included.

No picture yet, will post up when I get it. :D

IMHO, that's about what its worth.

Great68 05-11-2009 07:20 PM

Nice!

Mazda seems to be just giving their cars away right now!

ah-haha, you're along the right lines. I think a new RX-8 should be no more than 35k MSRP.

but wow, congrats on the fantastic deal man!

IMHO, I'm quoting this for truth.

not bad

ecsw 05-11-2009 09:12 PM

true. if it's over $35K, then I wont even look at it. $30k with leather/HID/Smart Key is pretty good deal. :)

who the hell wants a "new" car thats been sitting on the lot for 2 years (or worse, getting shit-kicked on test drives).

hmm.... 60km is very little... I doubt it's been test drove for 60km...

well, obviously u dont have problem with spending all you money and never buy cars that's from previous year? I bought my 07 600RR at the end of 08 with big discount on it. I dont see any problem. Family has a 05 TL bought in 06 with extra $2K off (on top of $4K off, total of $6K off) and have no problem either.

if u dont see extra thouand or 2 as big amount, why bother reading this thread?

!Shuya80 05-11-2009 11:55 PM

Thank you. :)

funny part is, OpenRoad refused the person who told me this deal was from. He went back to the dealer he found the deal, but it was sold to me. :p

Wait, so someone told you about the deal, you went there and sealed it..
Then the guy who told you about it tried to grab it, but you already bought it?

Qmx323 05-12-2009 12:30 PM

lol. not quite. But he was trying to ask OpenRoad to match the price as OpenRoad has the color he wants. I saw him at openroad and he told me he is making offer on the last one.

To comfort me, he told me the deal of Grey color in another dealer where I sealed the deal. :) Therefore, I didn't steal his deal technically. :p

I just heard that after I left OpenRoad, they refused his price match. He offer is still pending in OpenRoad..... :p

really? then why would they refused my friend's offer if they sell 40th edition for that price?

The black one was sold last Saturday at $33K + Fright and PDI from what I heard.
