not to be mean, but 1k:1d is pretty bad.....

^ when you think about it not really. Putting people with insane kills aside, for every kill you are above 1:1 someone has to be below 1:1. With my preferred guns I'm typically well above 1:1 in MW1 but trying to complete challenges I end up around 1:1.

NO you just suck. The style of gameplay in MW2 you can go thru a round with only 5 deaths and like 20 kills its not like CS

1:1 isn't bad..it's average at best though
i think to be considered good you need at least 2:1 KDR

See how my KDR went from almost 2.0 to 0.8 and streak from 50 down to under 10? i find most of the average PC gamer moved into console versions because of all the stimga the PC version was getting..so now only the hardcore people are still around.

I think im +500 K : D Its my first COD game so im not that good. Im just getting up to my friends who were still playing COD 4 and MW 1 until #2 were released. But i have logged 2 days 12 hours ^^

Well, I am sure I am not the best. But 1:1 is a lot better than someone saying that he had 2k:10d (1:5) in console.

Also, I spent too much time in COD5 zombie in the past months and degraded my "real life" skill too. I had 2200 kill in der riese with 3 ppl without using wunderwaffle and 550+ head shots (25%+ headshot). All with PS3 controller.

1:1 is perfectly average. I don't get how people think everyone can be able 1:1, where do all these kills magically come from if everyone is above 1:1?

Do you mean you've had 500 kills, or that you have a 500:1 Kill-to-death ratio?! :eek:

Yeah, 1:1 is perfectly fine... it's getting harder and harder to do nowadays due to the glut of experienced, skilled players as casual gamers move to console.

I can usually stay within the top five on any given server, unless a whole bunch of clan/super high ranking players are playing, and I make it a point to kill someone before I die in ever spawn. :thumbsup:

and u almost have as many assists as u did in cod4. how the hell u get so little assists with that many kills?!

i do gotta admit its much harder in mw2. my kill death ratio was 1.10 in cod4, 1.20 in cod5 and now i cant get past .93 very pissing!! lol

COD4 was the first game i bought for 360 and my first consol FPS and I ended up around a .95 K/D after a long learning curve of games that were like 4-30. haha

MW2 I had a slow start and was down to about .79 but Im now up to nearly 1.20 K/D and its still climbing. Id say in the last 30 games I've been above a 2.0.


I dont know how you can expect everyone to be above 1:1. for every kill, someone has to have a death. and if you knock off the unreal top players, and the complete noobs, the majority of people will fall in the .75-1.25. of the 10 or 12 people on my friends list with MW2, only 3 of them are above 1:1

also, some people might set up their class and stick with it. while other people might use guns that suck with iron sights and shitty perks trying to get 'everything'. one way will lead to more easy kills than the other. id rather get a score of like 20-10 than one of 6-1, at least you were involved in the game. or like a sniper camping a flag in domination vs a bomb runner in S&D.

^ exactly my point, some rounds I'm absolute shit and other rounds I can dominate. Just how it works out. Trying to max out the M14 and MP44 are killing my ratio right now, and the R700 was brutal :cry:

Playing HC I rarely get assists, and some of the specialty modes you either get the kill or they get you, not many assists.

HC mode is great...you actually feel that your heart sensor module is very useful. However I'm horrible with the friendly fire :P

Gotta love how US Rangers die so fast in Single Player. You can shoot the TF141 people all day long and they're fine.

I'm at 0.85 or so right now but I'm at a relatively low level so I don't have a very optimal setup.

:( I prefer the CS style of gameplay much more than this...
enemy doesn't pop out of nowhere and shoot you from left/right/top/back...

There is no team work, and most of the maps don't seem to have any formation so you never know when/where to expect your enemy...

Not much long range shootout as well. Most of the kills are either close combat or kill streaks
