I love running around with my shotty! And no it's not akimbo 1887's, Spas-12! Looks pretty badass getting a bunch of kills while doing the pump action. Especially in a map like Favela. Who cares about dying when you have Marathon and a shotgun!

whats the deal with the silencer and sniper rifle. Without the silencer its usually 1 hit and they're down (with stopping power pro) the rare time it takes 2 hits. With the silencer, about 80% of the time i need 2 hits, once again with stopping power pro. I use the intervention.

it depends on where u hit the target.
i started sniping with silencer and stopping power, i can mostly do 1 hit kills aimming at the upper body.
then i figured the silencer is just retarded on a sniper rifle so i dont use silencer anymore.
think about it, in normal game modes, theres a death cam, so that gives ur position away, they can come arnd back and stab u.

Yeah the stats are weird when u put the silcener on, I think the range goes does maybe meaning the bullet is dropping so yeah I donno silencer is weakkkkkkk for snipers

My combo right now is Intervention w/ FMJ w/ Scavenger Pro, Danger Close Pro, and Steady Aim Pro. I've gotten one nuke so far with this setup on TDM. I love watching guys get owned by C4. They get so pissed off!!

Claymore with 1 man army and then C4? Works well in S&D.

I still knife like 90% of the time in S&D. Marathon/Cold Blooded/Ninja is what I use most of the time. There is no in between I'll do really good or really bad depending on the map.

Silencers on the sniper rifle is perfect for hiding if there are killcams, cuz its just that one person that knows where you are, instead of the whole team seeing your red dot on their radar. The only problem is when you're playing against a group of people that are friends that call out where everybody is.

Do people not do what we did in CoD4? Scope, shoot, wait a second, then drop the scope? it makes it a lot harder to find someone via killcam. Or did they change the killcam? I only play HC cause its not just running around firing madly, people are a bit more careful when there's a delay after death. Plus you can actually use all the guns and all the possible setups without having to unload insane amounts of ammo into someone for a kill.

With silencers, it's weaker at longer range. 2 shots from waist and above. 1 shot from chest and up. Legs and arms take 2-3 shots.

Completing the FMJ challenge to unlock Ex. Mags seems to be move at snail pace for me.

I tend to try to get into matches going into maps that I know I can get some bullet penetration kills and move slowly, checking areas where I know there's a window or something with a thin wall around it that you can shoot the guy through. ie Derail can be good for sniping into that big building in the middle, especially right where those dark stairs come up. That big open map with the trench in the middle, well that thin wall in the middle of the little cave can be easily shot through and you can just see over the top to notice an enemy come down. Using Bling to have FMJ and ACOG you can get a lot of shots from the indoor balcony in the level with the cabin into those other buildings below, just watch for guys in the windows and such and shoot into the wall below the window to hit their body/legs. Firing blindly through thin walls where there might be enemies is good too, you can get some solid fluke kills like that. I also learned that shooting through a teammate (in HC anyways) counts as a bullet penetration kill :lol

Personally I'm trying to max out everything but the headshots for all the assault rifles as I tend to have the best success getting kills with them. I was going to do snipers but getting penetration kills with those is moving way too slowly. Does anyone know if getting full mastery with a class of gun unlocks anything? what about full headshots?

Once you unlock extended mags for a gun you get a title. IE a grey patterened bar that says M16A4. Once you get all the headshots you get a little logo pic of a black cross with the name of the gun underneath it.

Underscore are you on PS3? I only play hardcore as well. If so what's your PSN?
