so you can go online now but apparently you cant load the stimulus or hardcore stimulus as it freezes on a grey screen or crashes lol fail

If you are pretty good it probably is one of the better ones cause you don't respawn. But if you suck like me lol, I just did Demolition.

It's March 30th, folks, and that means you'll soon be able to download the first expansion pack for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

The Stimulus Package, scheduled to hit Xbox Live later this afternoon, includes five new maps and will be launched in unison with a Double XP event.

Infinity Ward's added incentive was originally scheduled to take place over the weekend, but the developer has today revealed that it "decided to throw the Double XP switch early when the new maps hit".

We're told the Double XP promotion will run for the best part of a week, so UK gamers can aim for that ellusive 10th Prestige over Easter bank holiday weekend.

In addition to the Double XP, Infinity Ward has confirmed that the Stimulus Package will introduce two playlists dedicated to the new maps - Stimulus and Hardcore Stimulus - and adds that the number of maps rotated in the Hardcore Headquarters playlist will finally be expanded to include Highrise, Invasion, Skidrow and Terminal.

Last but not least, a Modern Warfare 2 patch will also arrive prior to the Stimulus Package. The patch will introduce support for the imminent DLC, and includes a number of tweaks and bug fixes - including a more balanced One Man Army perk, a matchmaking update that claims to help international users find local games, and "various other code updates that will help improve the overall quality of multiplayer on Modern Warfare 2".

The Stimulus Pack will be available to Xbox 360 users via Xbox Live Marketplace later today at a cost of 1,200 Microsoft Points, and is expected to make its way to other platforms at a later date.

NOOB question as I've never bought these before but how much is it for the PS3?

Most likely around 15$ since that's how much it is on the 360.

Whoa whoa whoa. So if you have mastered a gun (beaten the FMJ challenge basically) you get to keep those guns if you Prestige?

i've seen double xp for cod waw on the ps3 - rip indeed. anyone know when the ps3 packs are coming?

woah, maybe I never noticed because I only play HC TDM but there looks to be some new game modes? We finally got 3 person tactical, and some "Team Deathmatch Express" bullshit? What the hell is the point of that? There's now 4 ways of playing TDM, 6 if you count the indirect ways via Mosh Pit and 3 Person Team Tactical.

They really need to just make it with two modes you pick off the bat: Regular and Hardcore. Then from there you pick a game mode, which includes ONE kind of TDM. cause I'd love to play HC 3PTT

TDM Express was always there and 3rd Person tactical as well. I play TDM Express alot cuz there are shorter wait times in between games.
