That's rough. There better be a lawsuit coming out of this.
There are times when the cops/border agents have reasonable cause, then there are the ones who accuse you of stuff just so they can trample your rights.
Personally I would've just let them search (ie I don't feel like getting beaten/tasered

) but props to the guy for standing up and questioning the officers. And yeah, if the case is legit, I hope this ends up on CNN and the officers get charged.
That reminds me of this one time my buddy got pulled over by a squad of cops because he had his factory fog lights on while driving on No.3. He had just taken delivery of that car days ago and didn't know there was a switch for it (which was left on by someone at the dealership). There are decent cops, then there are some that are just pricks.
