it's a no win situation. move on

achiam 05-18-2009 09:00 AM

a.) Ask her out in person
b.) wine and dine her
c.) make no moves at all
d.) grab her suddenly and make out in elevator
grand slam!

willystyle 05-18-2009 09:47 AM

As others have said, and in my experiences, she's not that into you, and is too nice to delete you, by avoiding you, she's hoping that you will eventually grasp her hints.

Move on, buddy!

joolee 05-18-2009 11:01 PM

you know.. if she really wanted to avoid you, she could just sign on as appear offline??? then you'd never know she was on

k20a 05-18-2009 11:12 PM

I came into this thread, thinking that someone ate someone's smelly fish. haha

Meowjin 05-19-2009 01:36 AM

just move on man...

no point wasting your time and energy paying attention to when she gets online/gets offline etc etc etc...it WILL drive you mad.

and don't confront her...you will just look like one creepy stalker

Ulic Qel-Droma 05-19-2009 03:34 AM

lol u know MSN has "log on offline mode"...

do you see where this is going? no?

okay, you log on "offline", watch her, then go online a few min later, and if she only goes offline whenever you come online. no shit. obvious answer right there.

if she goes offline even when you're hidden, well, you're just being paranoid.

btw she's just not into you.

Trying to, but when you're in a slump with girls this shit really starts to toil with your mind.

I can just see myself going through the whole summer single. Don't get me wrong or anything since I've been talking to a lot of different chicks. The thing that bites me in the butt is the fact I can't find one who's into me.
The furthest I can get is on a platonic level. Not only is it disheartening but its also demoralizing. I guess I can look on the bright side cause what doesn't kill you makes you stronger??

another victim of that misleading title~ he must of done it on purpose to attract viewers. but, having read it already, i might as well say:

you're probably reading too much into it, but if she's actually avoiding you, then she doesn't want to talk to you on msn... maybe you blew it somehow by saying some dumb ass remark which she didn't care for.. so don't keep trying the same things, that'll only turn her off more... what you gotta do is try another medium of macking to change her impression of you~

What kind of MSN etiquette do you employ on guy's you don't really dig?

As some said already, they just leave their MSN on Away or Busy all the time and ignore msgs from guys they dont dig. I see my girl friends do it ALL the time. Watch the movie "He's just not that into you", you'll see that one of the character in the movie is you.

Gives me the image of the OP camping out on his msn all day and night just to see when she gets online lol

Now this doesn't make any sense at all. I have a hard time believing guys will even msg a girl if her display notification is set to busy/away.
And if this is true its really lame! I don't think this is the case. Though I could be wrong.

drunkrussian 06-18-2009 07:35 AM

just ask her out while ur both on appear offline. If she says no, move on. If she says yes, I guess u have your answer right there.

I remember 2 of my ex's put their msn on away all the time. Guys and girls still msgs them. the msg they dont care for, they just click off.

Think of it as this, say you have a girl or guy friend on your msn, he/she's on away all the time, do you still msg them when u needed something?

Add her with a different MSN account and act like a female as if you were friends for the longest time. Proceed to befriend her online as a same aged girl that she supposedly knows and after months of getting to know each other online, plan the fabled get together with her. Upon agreeing to a venue and time, once she shows up, spring the trap, pop out of nowhere and confront her as to why she no longer wants to talk to the male you but is willing to be best friends forever with the female you.
