I bet your cousin Ed couldn't finish half a can of coke zero as fast as this gwai lo. My autistic friend did tell me to go see someone named "thanks vicky" to get a free lanyard after cuz I walked away from my epic loss in slamming coke zero :(

do you know "thanks vicky"? she might have been back there somewhere

Ya she was in the back, tried to sell me a Hot Beef Injection or something for a discount. But since I've converted to Hinduism I passed.

7.23 Gigs of 1080p and crappy WVGA video to sort through, edit, transcode, make pretty and post. Any one have a few spare PS3s I can hook up together to do my processing? :D

Lol, you're actually working on it? Apparently Toshiba did a demo with just 1 cell processor and it transcoded a huge raw HD file in seconds....lol

Yours is Hard-Drive/memory based right? Mine runs on miniDV tapes so i have to record that stuff into the computer however long it is.

+Kardboard+ 08-17-2009 01:14 AM

Yeah, AVCHD files. Fast to copy over, but I'm still a complete n00b at this. I just know how to talk out of my ass. :) Shhhhh

Be careful of "Girl", apparently she likes to give "surprise" butt sex to RS members. ;)

You see, normally that would come across as a sincere and straightforward warning. However, the presence of a "winky" smiley at the end either suggests that you enjoyed said surprise butt sex or that you are pulling my leg. Also, the fact that you put "surprise" in quotes further adds fuel to my suspicion that you are somehow a cohort of this "Girl" and that you are secretly, but in a determined fashion, plotting my soon-to-be demise.

I'm watching you. :lol

How observant of you. How do you even analyze that at this time lol. I'm like half asleep.

I'm glad he heard about it then. Between that and the wrecked fd (rip little fd *cry*) I hope some people will think twice about taking wreckless chances.

Finally well rested!

I'd like to thank the weather gods for co-operating, now i gotta go find me a virgin to sacrific for them... JB crew, point me in the right direction!!!

I want to thank Atlantis, jACE, and !Niteraven for coming early to help me unload the truck. I was at the parking lot by 7am, they came out by 8am to help, i didnt expect anyone would be up that early to help me!

I want to thank jACE's FIANCEE (yeah, get use to saying that jACE!), and his friends that helped man the grill the whole day! Those guys cooked the 500 hotdogs for YOU!!

I want to thank the vendors that participated for this event, i know it hasnt been the best of years for all of us, but we all looked past the economy and came together. Blitzgear, theblackmarkers, RTR/RCMP, MWDesign, Jellybean Hotrods, Takeda, BeyondH20, HybridR, ICBC, 6004DodgeBall, UBCSCC, Soundsgood Audio, A&J, Revolution, Ebisu (for the samples, the games, and the prizes!) and Greg Drew (for his passion and for his son)

I want to thank each and every member and person that was there for putting up with my snappiness, didnt realize i was working for so many hours without food in my system, and so thus, was reading a low blood sugar moment (i get anxious, annoying, and straight out prick mode) but thanx to whomever that pointed it out for me. ran back and inhaled a couple packs of juice, and ate my mcdonalds breakfast, was good to go and happy again! =) My appologies to VCC) We put on these events for the members, we go the extra mile because we can and because its fun! We want to represent the west coast. We have a car scene here and we want to show the rest of North America its bloody strong!

Anyhow, im gonna go pass out for another day...

Thanx

Award winners:

Best Car Club - BC Mazda3, they edged out the closest competition by 2 cars.. 2 CARS!!!

Best Car Crew - Vancouver Euros, this category goes not by number, but the overall collection of cars, ABILITY TO PARK, display, cleaniness....

Best of Show - Jellybean's Merc 180SL - this category goes to the best overall at the meet. exterior, interior, ICE, ground effects, engine, and most importantly the combination of all. If you slapped parts out of the APC catalog, you wont even be close. In BC we are all about sleak, stock, and keeping it as original to the cars exterior line as possible. Jellybeans merc had an LST shoehorned in it, which meant probably some subframe cutting and rewelding on top of strengthening to handle the added torque, especially from a convertible!

Chugging Contest winner - went to the guy that finished the can of tonic water w/ salt the fastest (jACE's idea for the salt)... all i can say is damn thats nasty!

ilvtofu 08-17-2009 07:38 AM

Did anyone go to say roof of silvercity and snap a group shot of all the cars?
Neone have some rough attendance numbers? I know cars came and went so yeah...

Raid3n 08-17-2009 07:52 AM

500-550 for car count.... something like that.

If I wasn't so hung over from the night before, it would have been 3 cars :p

skyxx 08-17-2009 11:34 AM

ilvtofu 08-17-2009 11:40 AM
