Solid build quality non-smartphone with tactile (non-touch) buttons?
My telus contract is expiring in December, and I am starting to look for a phone, considering switching to GSM and getting a non-contract phone.
I want one that has a fast GUI, very well built, sleek and thin design with good materials. Preferably no loose/flexible battery covers or wobbly buttons.
I prefer tactile buttons, non-touchscreen, no keyboard. Smartphone functionality is optional. To start, budget is under $300 + tax; not sure how nice a phone that will get me.
Samsung has a few that look to be fairly well built with metal/plastic materials.
Nokias look okay, but they look kind of overly-plasticky. But they seem to be fairly well built in general (I've always liked the Nokia 3390 brick).
Thanks!
