That probably would be 1981 at the very earliest. More like mid 80's though probably

EDIT: Found it: NTT Model 100 Shoulder Phone, 1985. It actually connects through an existing car phone.

ok found it...the article is in Japanese but if you have any translators, I guess you'll be able to read it.

so I guess that particular phone is 1985.

I was just reading the first part saying the cell phone showed up in Showa era, 45 (1985) and I thought they were indicating one in the pic.

funny how the useless phone's value probably skyrocketed, while the useful vehicle behind her was once worth alot and is now considered trash in japan
