i've seen your CL ad. i guess no one is buying it eh?

It would help for people to know the following
1) do you have the original receipt?
2) On what occasions did you use this lens?

and you might want to lower your price for a faster sell.
B&H is selling it for 1599.99. (and this might be good info for those who want to know)
1,600.00 USD=1,782.87 CAD
1782.87 * 1.12 = 1996.80 CAD

purchase the 70-200 f2.8 IS from B&H, and adapt free shipping to point roberts.
cross the border to pick it up, and pay for the 12% tax. You'd still be 4 dollars cheaper, and still have full warranty for both US and Canada.

1,600.00 USD=1,782.87 CAD
1782.87 * 1.12 = 1996.80 CAD

Lowballing, Thread-jacking, chatting and flaming NOT TOLERATED
This is a Buy and Sell forum. A place to Buy and sell commodities. If any of the above rules are broken, you will get points and a subsequent ban if you break them more than once. We don't care if you saw the item for cheaper at the store. DON'T POST IT!

Marloon hasn't really done any of the above. He's trying to help out the OP even though it may not seem like it. He's doing it in a very subtle way which I think is ok. I would have to agree with Marloon. If you want to move the product you might want to check out fredmiranda.com to better price your lens. I would have gone through the same process as Marloon if i were looking to buy a used lens. But looking at his research, your price is not far off.

Marloon did the research for others, so he's helping freesole out. Freesole is only a bit more than a used US version and the purchaser wouldn't have to bother with customs etc.

Not a bad deal!

Papabear, did you read Marloon's entire thread?

No problem at all. I didn't know that they were selling that close to my selling price. I would have done the same.

New price = $1,850.
