my friend began dating her bf when she was 16 and he was 26 at the time. i intially thought is was weird, but they've been in an actual relationship for 4-5 years now. but they've had a lot of problems along the way and maturity was never one of them. but he feels he's ready to get married and she's not.

so the point is, if you're looking for an ACTUAL relationship, even if everything is ok now - you're probably going to run into some bigger problem later down the road.
