was talking to a friend about dating and how if i bought home a white girl they wouldn;t be too happy since i come from a very old school and traditional family.
i told this to 2 friends one girl and one guy. both are chinese, and they both said ah why not. and i told them my reason. they said white girls or people are generally more open minded. i didn;t ask them what they meant by that reason. but what do they mean by more open minded or what do you think that means.
are white canadian ppl generally more open minded than asian ppl. and if so how so and in what ways.

I'd say that's GENERALLY true due to the way the culture/tradition/upbringing.
We are all the product of our environment, which includes the effects of how we were brought up, and with whom.
Generally, I can agree that a lot of Asians I have met are quite close minded or closed off, but hte ratio IS getting better.
Like I said, it's a GENERALIZATION.
