Anyone got it? What are you thoughts on it? I haven't played the earlier versions of Sims, and starting to have the temptation to try it out.

Got the game for the girlfriend today. I don't really play sims but she loves it.
From what i've seen it looks pretty good I might have to try it myself.

so whats the diff between this and all the previous versions?
just more items? or can u actually do more than live in a house/go to the mall/beach?

i never played the 2nd one cause they released like 6000 diff expansions

My first SIms game, and I do like it.
A nice time waster and it's fun looking for things to do and accomplish.

been playing this for a while now.
it's pretty fun. and the difference from this to the previous ones are there are no loading times. and you are able to travel to and from work/shopping/gyms/parks in one solid sequence.
graphics are improved, trait system is a nice touch.
i have my sim being very neat, athletic, a genius, also a kleptomaniac (so he's always stealing things from work) and my job is in law enforcement 
people should go ahead and try it out even if you haven't played any of the previous ones yet

I got the game before it got released  *cough cough*
Pretty addicting but I stopped playing after a week. Probably start playing again when people start make custom furniture's/etc.

dunt know if you guys know. there is a version for the iphone. saw my gf playing it today it looks to be pretty full feature in that you can travel outside your house and visit other place.
