Exhaust flame thrower help

My friend with a 2004 Acura RSX type S is looking for exhaust that can shoot flames. I've seen tons of videos on youtube and personally think it looks cool.

So the question... How do these things work? do you buy new exhaust or add something to the exhaust/engine that allows your exhaust to shoot flames? And when this thing is installed will it always shoot flames when rev/or acclerate, etc?

Also looking for shop suggestions or if not I'll look at the internet, prices?

ROFL Ok here goes.... its a device that when you stomp the gas then let off it dumps fuel and then there is a spark plug or similar device at the exhaust exit that ignites the unburnt fuel.

If he's looking for that fast and furious look that shoots flames on acceleration.... it doesn't exist.

Berz out.

You can also run the car catless with the engine stupidly rich, in which case you'll get backfires when the throttle is closed suddenly such as on a shift under acceleration.

Keep in mind that flamethrowing exhaust is illegal, running catless is illegal, and one can be ticked for an excessively noisy car (which a catless, constantly backfiring car could certainly qualify).
